Southern Charm Wedding | S + M | GCP by Nicole

Sarah + Mike’s wedding at Southern Charm was truly one to be remembered. It was filled with so many personal touches and lots of happy tears.

It was such a beautiful sight to see them surrounded by all of their family and friends and the special memories that were included in the day for the family that couldn’t be with them. Sarah’s Dad has been showing signs that he’s still watching over her by leaving hawk feathers to find. She literally had cups filled with them for her hair and make-up artist to add to her hair – which turned out stunning! I also loved adding the feathers to her detail shots. It was such a beautiful way to honor her Dad.

Sarah + Mike are also huge fans of the Grateful Dead and they incorporated their love for the band in the most classy way. From Mike’s cuff links and pin to the wedding table numbers and everywhere in between!

Their first look was so sweet and having it in front of the gorgeous barn doors with their wedding party watching was perfect. I loved how Sarah kept him in suspense just a few minutes longer before she let him turn around and you could seen he was blown away by his gorgeous bride. It’s times like those that I love just sitting back and capturing the moment. I just love capturing those real, raw moments.

Their ceremony was gorgeous and I’m pretty sure everyone was in tears by the time Sarah made her way down the aisle. Their vows were so heartfelt and special. The room inside Southern Charm was the perfect place for their ceremony.

After the ceremony and dinner everyone was ready to party with the Joe Marcinek Band. I think that was the fastest I’ve seen everyone jump up to start dancing the night away!
