Proclamation Wildflower Farm Session | S Family | GCP by Nicole

When I tell you that I couldn’t wait to edit this session, I’m not exaggerating one bit.  The S Family session at Proclamation Farm was just perfect.

Dad had to change when they arrived so I took full advantage of having a Mommy and me session first and it couldn’t have gone any better.  Wes was obsessed with all of the flowers and ever so gently inspected every one within reach.

After pictures with Mom he decided he needed a little milk break which was the perfect opportunity to capture some photos of Mom and Dad.  I always love when parents take a moment to have their own photos taken during a session.

We then moved on to the sunflowers which was so fitting because I had taken their maternity photos in my sunflower field so it was full circle now that Wes was included in them . He was so smitten with the sunflowers that I had to get creative in getting his attention, which included tickling his nose with a blade of grass and then shooting very quickly!  And of course all the funny noises and making a fool of myself, but it was worth it!

We of course had to end the session with Daddy and Wes photos and plenty of Wes by himself.

It was so hard to narrow down my favorite images from this session and I know it was just as hard for his Mom too.  A great problem to have.

I can’t wait to celebrate his first birthday in a few months!
