I believe everything happens for a reason.  As a Chicago Newborn Photographer, I was meant to meet the H Family.  This session was filled with so much love and happiness that I was on the verge of tears of happiness numerous times.

The H Family has a pretty amazing story.  They were on a waiting list to adopt a baby and after going through some heartbreak, they received a call that Mr J was waiting for them. They were specifically picked after the birth mom viewed their online profile.  They of course rushed down to meet the new love of their life.  J’s birth mom could not have picked a more amazing and deserving couple to raise him.  The way they looked at him and interacted with him after only having him a few short days was nothing short of amazing to witness.

J was just perfect for his session and it included lots of snuggles in between poses to keep everyone as happy as possible.  He rocked everything I threw at him and was such a little trooper.

I left the session with a huge smile on my face that  stayed with me the rest of the day.  It’s always an amazing feeling to connect with someone that you’ve just met a few hours prior and end the session with hugs.  I truly felt welcomed and I am so honored to have captured one of J’s first few days with them.  I cannot wait to capture J’s milestones and watch him grow.
