Manhattan Couples Session | Mikayla + Ollie | GCP by Nicole

Along with so many graduation sessions this month, I’ve also had so many couple sessions which have been so fun!  

Mikayla reached out wanting a shoot to celebrate her and Ollie’s one year anniversary and I’m so honored she put her trust in me for this whole shoot.  She had a whole vibe that she was going for and part of that feel was being on a farm.  I happen to know of a lot of different barns in the area that I am lucky enough to to be able to shoot at from being so involved with horses and her choice was a very easy one – Crosswind Farms!  Being born and raised in Manhattan she thought it would be perfect to have their session there and I couldn’t agree more.  

Dawn and Tom have always welcomed me onto their farm since they opened it up to the public and I’ve had some great shoots there!  They always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

While neither Mikayla or Ollie are models, they very well could be!  The whole session felt like just a conversation between friends.  I would just have to give a prompt on where to stand and everything else just naturally fell into place and we talked and laughed the whole time.  

And just as much as I was their hype girl during the shoot, Mikayla was mine – randomly announcing how much she was going to love her photos .
